Save the date for the next ISA Tampa webinar workshop. This session will have a presentation identifying several projects approaching or in field testing to mitigate the effects of red tide.

The Florida Red Tide Mitigation & Technology Development Initiative is a partnership between Mote Marine Laboratory (Mote) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) that establishes an independent and coordinated effort among public and private research entities to develop prevention, control and mitigation technologies and approaches that will decrease the impacts of Florida red tide on the environment, economy and quality of life in Florida.

Liz Longstreet and Kevin Claridge will follow on the program approach discussed in this link with projects emerging to field verification testing.

The second half will be a guided workshop interactive discussion where you can offer insights from your Automation or technical career or studies. Students are encouraged to attend to gain insights into real time working projects reversing the destructive human pollution habits.

A sign up procedure will be issued in one week. In the meantime please visit the Mote website https://mote.org/ to learn more about the exciting and technically challenging activity at this world class facility.
